As a therapist, I strive to view each client in a holistic manner and to ultimately create a non-judgmental space where clients of any background can feel comfortable and supported. My therapeutic philosophy relies heavily on the fact that humans do not exist in a vacuum; we are all a part of larger systems that impact our mental and physical health. This can include a client’s race, family structure, gender identity, socioeconomic status, or a plethora of other factors. This is why I believe that consideration of the experiences and identities of each client is necessary to create a strong therapeutic alliance and to facilitate meaningful change.

 I am passionate about working with individuals from marginalized communities which is why a holistic understanding of a client and non-judgement is so important to me. It is often already extremely difficult for people to seek therapy services, so I make it my mission to remain non-judgmental and to understand all clients to the best of my ability.

 Though I value collaboration with my clients, I really strive to create an alliance in which the client feels empowered and passionate about making change themselves, instead of feeling like they are simply being told to by someone that may be seen as superior, Since I do value a holistic approach, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Multicultural, and Motivational Interviewing.
