Leslie Orr, LMHC

Doing my own personal work in therapy is what led me to become a therapist. I believe strongly in paying it forward, and I would like to be there for you to normalize the process of participating in mental health counseling. You don’t need to suffer in silence. Unconditional positive regard and validation can be uplifting to those who are struggling. I believe that people have the ability to grow and change into who they want to become. As your therapist, my goal is to help you live the best life you can.

I use a combination of evidence-based approaches to best fit the needs of my clients including person centered therapy, narrative therapy, and strength-based therapy. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I enjoy working with adults and teens ages 14 and up with a variety of struggles that they may want to work through. I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and neurodivergent populations. I am an open minded therapist who is sex-positive and kink-aware.

My personal approach to therapy is to recognize each person’s story as their own, complete with different feelings and experiences. I am committed to creating a comfortable nonjudgmental atmosphere that provides a brave space for your story to be heard. I consider you the expert on what is going on with you. My goal is not to rush you, but to walk beside you on your journey. Whenever you are ready, feel free to reach out by email or phone.

Leslie offers in-person and telehealth appointments at our 3500 Center Point Road NE, Suite 2 office.
