I believe in you and what we can do together to help make the future a better one for you. With training in CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy, I use my knowledge and experience to sort through what you are carrying, help you take what is working, and leave behind what isn’t. Sometimes, we just need a few tools to understand our thoughts differently. Sometimes, we need to create a plan to move forward when it seems too hard. And sometimes, we need to learn how to slow down and just be.

My undergrad is in theatre, and  little did I know, twenty years after graduation I would be back at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota studying to become a therapist. Those twenty years taught me that a lot of our best learning does not always come from a classroom.
Life has taught me so many lessons I can use to better understand each and every person in my office. I understand that no one is perfect and we are all just doing our best with what we have each and every day.

‍ ‍
Creativity is important to me. Some friends may call me goofy. I get outdoors whenever I can and love the water wherever I can find it. I play games and eat good food. I spend time with my adult children and spouse whenever I can.

I am continuously humbled at the privilege to help you through the tough times.
It is my honor to be a part of your journey as you become the best You!
