Transparency is one of the values I consider essential in the therapeutic relationship. Before sharing more about my work as a therapist, I want you to know a little about me as a person. Prior to joining Insight Therapy Group, I earned my master’s and PhD degrees from Mount Mercy University. While my education has provided me with valuable knowledge, skills, and perspectives, I view my PhD as a tool that supports my work rather than a title that defines me. I believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship we build together.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, caring for my two cats, and getting lost in a good book. I believe that therapy is built on trust, authenticity, and connection. My hope is that by sharing a little about myself, you can begin to feel more comfortable with who I am as a person and as a therapist as we work together toward your goals.

‍ ‍**Being a certified therapeutic game master means that I utilize games and gaming to help you create the change you want to see in yourself, whether that is through individual or group therapy.
